It is also a within minutes by car from UTEP, I-10, Border Hwy, Paisano and Mesa Street. Located in a historic part of town, this is a very safe neighborhood with welcoming visitors. Amtrak and Bus Stations (Greyhound) are in walking distance. Looking for a night of entertainment and dining, this can be within a walk (Union) or a short Uber (San Jacinto Plaza).

This listing is for recently renovated Apartment 12 inside the Union Plaza Apartments Private Complex. Follow us on FB and IG @stayunionplaza to see more of Union plaza and El Centro districts. The building was built nearly 100 years ago. The unit is located on the second floor of the building which will require climbing stairs, there is no ramp for luggage. The one bedroom apartment is about 450 square feet and it accommodates 2 guests comfortably and can sleep 4 if needed. ** NOTE: All units are located on the 2nd floor of the building, stairs are not optional, the 1st floor are all commercial spaces. Need code to enter building*** The kitchen space was designed with a modern contemporary style in mind, ergo the open shelving space. It is fully equipped for cooking, it features an electric stove with oven, a double sink with a garbage disposal, a wood countertop with two bar stools an over-the-range microwave, pots and pans, dishes and utensils and solid surface countertops. The bathroom includes a full shower with handheld shower head and great water pressure, as well as a new vanity and a skylight. In the living area, there’s a daybed for guest #3 and #4 and a small Roku TV. There are two barn doors separating the living area with the bedroom. The bedroom features a King Memory foam Bed, alternative pillows, 100% cotton linens, a closet w/ hangers and drawers and next to the window you will find the Mini Split AC/Heater with control remote. Union Plaza Apartments are located in an entertainment district which includes bars, restaurants, night clubs, baseball park, and a rail station. Acute noise levels can be present at times. There’s no parking lot for the apartments, there’s only free street parking and a parking garage across the building that charges hourly at a $10 max for 24hour stay. Long Term guests will obtain one access card to park their car at the Union Plaza Transit Terminal across the street; it is a covered multilevel parking garage accessible to guests 24 hours a day.

Grocery/pharmacy, coffee shop (including Starbucks) and restaurants/bars are all located within a short walk or a quick Uber drive. The El Paso Streetcars are available to ride from the main bus central across downtown all the way to Cincinnati Street. Very easy access to 1-10 or Paisano St towards the 375 border highway.
